Arnica
Traditionally used to support the body’s natural response to physical shock or trauma and help aid the recovery process from bruises, sprained tissues and muscles after falls, sports injuries, muscle ache from exercise or gardening. It has also been known to help alleviate pain in sore joints including hands, knees, feet.
Arnica montana (Arnica) infused Olea europaea (Olive Oil), Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax.
Do NOT use on broken skin or where there is bleeding.
Calendula
An extremely well known and favourite herb for many for it's gentle topical use, Calendula is recognised for supporting skin regeneration from wounds, cuts, grazes, and soothing inflammed skin including heat rash and nappy rash. It is a very fast herbal agent, so wounds need to be meticulously clean before applying.
Calendula officinalis (Calendula) infused Olea europaea (Olive Oil), Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax.
Chamomile
Traditional use of Chamomile is for skin inflammation due to chronic skin conditions, exposure to irritants or sunburn. Chamomile, applied topically, is particularly effective where skin is also itchy due to irritants or insect bites and soothes the affected part.
Matricaria recutita (Chamomile) infused Olea europaea (Olive Oil), Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax.
Contra-indication: Discontinue use if allergic reaction occurs. Do NOT use if allergic to Asteracea family (Daisy)
Comfrey
Traditionally known as “Knitbone” and used for bone and joint support where there are breaks, inflammation or joint distortions as well as soft tissue support for bruising and sprains, or over-exercise from sports or gardening aches. It is traditionally known to help reduce muscle pain, swelling and overstrain as well as support mobility of affected joints.
Symphytum officinale (spp.) (Comfrey) infused Olea europaea (Olive Oil), Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax.
EXTERNAL USE ONLY
Tea Tree
Tea tree oil has been shown effective supporting skin integrity where there are bacterial infections and skin damage as well as supporting certain fungal skin conditions resolution. As the essential oil is diluted in the olive oil, it is safe to apply direct to the skin.
Olea europaea (Olive Oil), Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax, Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) essential oil.
Not for use in children. Harmful if swallowed or used on the eyes.
Violet
A sweet herb with a long medicinal tradition, the heart shaped leaves are used to soothe skin swellings, inflammation and also bruising. The leaves are steeped in olive oil to transfer their herbal properties before being strained and made into ointment. Sadly, there is none of the lovely violet fragrance as only the leaves are used. Use in conjunction with Chamomile for best results for skin conditions.
Ingredients: Viola odorata (Violet) infused Olea europaea (Olive Oil), Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Candelilla) Wax.
